Arduino Uno

• Price: $20
• Pros: Smaller than Mega, HUGE amount of online support, directly compatible with various shields (physically and software library wise)
• Cons: Lower voltage output, may require multiple microcontroller

Arduino Mega

• Price: $30
• Pros: Works with a wide range of sensors and motors without additional hardware. Familiar programming language.
• Cons: May require multiple boards to control all aspects of the robot.

Raspberry Pi B+

• Price: $35
• Pros:  A miniature computer that is the same size as most micro controllers. As a small computer, can do anything that a standard computer can do. Would have more memory and a larger computational capacity than most other micro controllers.
• Cons: Draws more current while operating. Is less easily adaptable to devices than Arduinos. Programming language is not as commonly used
